Nestled between the mountains, lagoon and ocean, Coot Club in Stanford is a luxury eco retreat about two hours from Cape Town. Surrounded by milkwood forests, breathtaking views and its own private beach, it’s the perfect spot to relax, explore and celebrate with us. The lagoon opens out into Walker Bay, one of South Africa’s best whale watching areas, and November is whale season, when whales can often be seen in the bay.
It all started with a message, and somehow it turned into something magical. From that moment we just clicked, talking for hours like we’d known each other forever. Our first date over tapas and cocktails sealed the deal, and since then it’s been laughter, adventures, and countless cosy nights that all just felt right.
On New Year’s Eve in Dubai, Jamie got down on one knee, Jess said yes through happy tears, and it became one of the best moments of our lives. Now, surrounded by the people we love most, we get to celebrate our best chapter yet… and we can’t wait.
