Reaching Coot Club is easy. Fly into Cape Town International Airport (CPT), then it’s a beautiful two-hour drive to Stanford. You can take an Uber, book a taxi, or hire a car directly from the airport – all straightforward options. And don’t worry, driving in South Africa is on the same side of the road as in the UK!
We also plan to coordinate a group transfer/convoy from Cape Town to Coot Club for anyone who’d like to join.

We have up to 40 on-site rooms at Coot Club, with priority for immediate family and the bridal party. We’ve also reserved rooms at a nearby hotel, Rivergate Guest Farm and a shuttle will run between the hotel and Coot Club throughout the weekend.

Coot Club: Provincial Road, Wortelgat Rd, Stanford, 7210, South Africa
Nestled between the mountains, lagoon and ocean, Coot Club in Stanford is a luxury eco retreat about two hours from Cape Town. Surrounded by milkwood forests, breathtaking views and its own private beach, it’s the perfect spot to relax, explore and celebrate with us. The lagoon opens out into Walker Bay, one of South Africa’s best whale watching areas, and November is whale season, when whales can often be seen in the bay.
